INTERESTING PEOPLE AND JOBS.
Galileo Galilei was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer and philosopher. He was born in Pisa, Italy, where he began to study medicine. Later, he decided to change to mathematics. He worked as a professor of Geometry, Mechanics and Astronomy at the University of Padua. Galileo has been called the "father of modern observational astronomy", the "father of modern physics", the "father of science", and "the Father of Modern Science".
