Volcanoes!!!!

On the 20th of February,1943, Dionisio Pulido, a peasant farmer, was working in his fields in Paricutin village, when he saw a big hole, fire and he noticed a horrible smell. There were rocks everywhere and soon the lava appeared. He run back to the village and told everybody what was happening.

The lava run ten kilometres and the volcano was erupting for 9 years, 11 days and 10 hours.
